Will the College Board provide any tutorial/review opportunities?

Yes.  Beginning on Wednesday, March 25, students and teachers can attend free, live AP review courses, delivered by AP teachers from across the country. These mobile-friendly classes are:
  • Designed to be used alongside work that may be given by schools.
  • Will be recorded and available on-demand so teachers and students can access them any time.
  • Not dependent on current AP teachers continuing instruction. We know many AP teachers now face challenges that would make that impossible.
  • Will focus on reviewing the skills and concepts from the first 75% of the course. There will also be some supplementary lessons including topics from the final 25% of the course.

Will I still have an opportunity to take the AP US exam?

Yes.  For the 2019–20 exam administration only, students can take a 45-minute online free-response exam at home. The Exam will consist of a 5 document DBQ given at 11:00AM on Friday, May 15th.

When will I receive more details about how and when to take the AP exam from home?

Students can choose from two different test dates, these dates will be released by April 3. I will send more info out as soon as this information is available.

Are the assignments Mr. Allen posts required?

No.  Any assignments I post are optional and intended to 1) provide you with educational opportunities during this unprecedented time & 2) better prepare you for the up-coming AP exam.  That said, there will be multiple opportunities for you to improve your 3rd quarter grade.
